Something Different

    Every once in a while I do something different, this way dont get stuck in a painting routine. I realized one day that doing a few loose paintings after a series of tight paintings reminds me that painting is about exploring an trying new things. I used thick lines in these for simplicity then added a shadows on the bottom to give the sneakers weight. Not to sure what I'm gonna do with these since i don't know any one who likes paintings of sneakers sooo I'm just gonna find a cool spot outside and leave it for anyone to pick up an keep.

NYC subway sketch

     This is a quick 20 minute sketch that i did of a NY subway train. I want to eventually paint it on canvas but I'm still thinking about the size i want to do it on.

Almost 1

       This is the 3rd portrait i did of my niece. I painted it on a 8x10 canvas in grisaille with a little color in the background to push it back an bring her face forward. All i have to do now is frame it and hang it up.
